If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The successful candidate will be well versed in engineering of linear infrastructure design projects or planning project such as water, wastewater, and/or stormwater modeling and planning, CIP planning, and master planning </li>\n <li>Building on our growth in the region and will be facilitating the planning, design, and construction of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including the development and execution of budgets, schedules, contract obligations, and quality standards </li>\n <li>Develops significant relationships with new and existing clients and has responsibility for client maintenance</li>\n <li>Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects, for multiple clients, of medium to large sizes of moderately complex nature</li>\n <li>Initiates and maintains extensive contacts with key engineers and officials of other organizations and companies</li>\n <li>Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments</li>\n <li>Determines program objectives and requirements and organize programs and projects</li>\n <li>Involved in exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation, and development of novel concepts and approaches</li>\n <li>Responsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards</li>\n <li>Directs several subordinate supervisors or team leaders</li>\n <li>Responsible for training and mentoring internal staff</li>\n <li>Plans and develops projects concerned with unique or controversial problems that have an important effect on major organization programs</li>\n <li>Develops standards and guides for diverse engineering activities</li>\n <li>Responsible for acting independently and making authoritative decisions on technical matters</li>\n <li>Participates on team that prepares proposals, conducts interviews, and negotiates contracts with clients</li>\n <li>Supports firm's relationships with client management personnel</li>\n <li>Responsible for identifying and directs sub consultants performing services on projects</li>\n <li>Active in professional associations, including presentation of technical papers, member of technical committee, officer of local or national organization</li>\n <li>Moderate travel is required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering</li>\n <li>Minimum of 8 years of professional experience (exclusive of any advanced degree)</li>\n <li>Registration as a Professional Engineer</li>\n <li>Experience delivering water and wastewater treatment, wastewater collection systems, water transmission/distribution, pipeline rehabilitation, and/or pump station projects</li>\n <li>Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints</li>\n <li>Ability to evaluate progress of staff and results obtained, and recommend major changes to achieve overall objectives</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively with multiple clients and project teams</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering</li>\n <li>Planning experience</li>\n <li>Design and construction phase experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Range</h2>\n<p>An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.</p>\n<h2>Other Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>Carollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
