Fourth Plain BlvdVancouver, WA 98661</p><p> </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation</strong>: Starting at 60.00/hr plus 5.09 for Health and Wellness</p>\n<p><strong>Hours:</strong> Varing based on location but both days and nights will likely be available</p>\n<h3>Overview</h3>\n<p>The MRI Technologist performs complex diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The technologist operates advanced MRI equipment and ensures imaging quality and patient safety.</p>\n<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform imaging studies including head, neck, spine, abdomen, chest, and extremities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Follow radiologist-prescribed MRI imaging protocols.</p></li>\n <li><p>Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.</p></li>\n <li><p>Verify patient identity and confirm patient safety requirements.</p></li>\n <li><p>Select and set imaging parameters according to established standards.</p></li>\n <li><p>Monitor equipment functionality and report issues.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain patient records and imaging documentation in the hospital information system.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain exam rooms and equipment according to infection control standards.</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide portable imaging services when required.</p></li>\n <li><p>Participate in on-call rotations and emergency imaging services.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<h3>Qualifications</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>ARRT certification as Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist with MRI specialty.</p></li>\n <li><p>Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.</p></li>\n <li><p>Minimum <strong>2 years experience</strong> operating diagnostic radiology equipment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must have worked as an <strong>MRI technologist in a hospital setting within the last six months</strong>.</p></li>\n <li><p>Professional liability insurance required.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work <strong>at least six months after start date</strong>.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Aptive</h2>\n<p>Arrow ARC supports Veterans Health Administration facilities and offices across the U.S. with health care staffing and program support via the 10-year Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP).
