Great teachers will have a love and desire to care for and educate children under the age of four. We are seeking one part-time teacher who understands best practices in early childhood education and can engage children and earn their trust and attention. Our goal is to continue contributing to children's healthy mental and emotional development, enabling them to excel in kindergarten.<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The position's hours are 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm or 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm. </span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Teacher Responsibilities are:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Provide a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Observe each child and help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Encourage children to interact positively with each other.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Guide children in developing their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (e.g., identifying shapes, numbers, or colors; doing crafts, etc.).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Organize the classroom schedule and supervise children to ensure their safety at all times.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with co-workers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain a clean, tidy classroom that complies with health and safety standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Follow the company's curriculum and lessons.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Follow the guidelines of DSS, DHEC, and Aspire Early Learning Academy.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Excellent communication and instructional skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to act as a mediator between children.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Creativity.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Cleared Central Registry, SLED, and FBI background checks.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Completed ECD 101 or agreed to complete the course within 6 months of employment (paid for by the company). </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Benefits to include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Paid DSS training classes up to 15 hours.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Weekly direct deposits on Fridays.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Accessible payroll platform via website or app.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Conference and workshop registrations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Nights and weekends off.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Optional Vision, Dental, and Whole Life Insurance benefits that are payroll-deductible.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Optional 401(k) benefits with 100% employer match after six months.</span></li>\n</ul>",
