The successful candidate will contribute to the overall operational excellence by supporting environmental services, waste management, and facility upkeep. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance and cleanliness issues, thereby supporting the health and safety of all employees and visitors. Ultimately, the Plant/EVS Staff plays a critical role in sustaining a productive and compliant workplace environment that aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements.</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Previous experience in janitorial, environmental services, or facility maintenance roles.</li><li>Ability to follow safety protocols and operate cleaning equipment safely.</li><li>Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions.</li><li>Basic communication skills to understand instructions and report issues effectively.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Certification in environmental services or facility maintenance.</li><li>Experience working in industrial or manufacturing plant environments.</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance standards.</li><li>Ability to operate specialized cleaning machinery and tools.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in plant and facility areas, including floors, restrooms, break rooms, and outdoor spaces.</li><li>Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.</li><li>Inspect facilities regularly to identify hazards, maintenance needs, or cleanliness issues and report them promptly to management.</li><li>Support the setup and breakdown of equipment and materials for plant operations and events as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p>The required skills enable the Plant/EVS Staff to efficiently perform cleaning and maintenance duties while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
