If you enjoy solving complex problems with data and shaping how teams make decisions, this role puts you at the center of it all.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Primary Location:</strong> Toronto, ON</p>\n<p><strong>Work Model: </strong> Hybrid 3-Days Onsite</p>\n<p><strong>Employment Type: </strong> Permanent Full-Time</p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Status: </strong> New</p>\n<p><strong>Compensation Range: </strong>$53,000 - $63,000 CAD</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Elicit, gather, and document business and technical requirements for data-driven projects</li>\n <li>Produce functional and non-functional business requirements, solution specifications, and workflow/process documentation</li>\n <li>Analyze enterprise data and identify sources to support reporting, analytics, and data warehouse initiatives</li>\n <li>Create and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documents for data warehouse / data mart projects</li>\n <li>Document the flow and transformation of data from source systems to Data Warehouse/Data Marts and from Data Warehouse/Data Marts to downstream applications</li>\n <li>Collaborate with business sponsors, technology teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure delivered solutions meet business intent and provide value</li>\n <li>Perform data profiling and analysis using SQL to validate data, derive complex business logic, and support reporting/analytics needs</li>\n <li>Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, and other quality assurance activities</li>\n <li>Coordinate with multiple teams, manage priorities, and handle ambiguous requirements effectively</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field</li>\n <li>3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Data Warehouse / Data Mart environments</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience eliciting business requirements and producing functional/non-functional specifications</li>\n <li>Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries for data extraction and analysis</li>\n <li>Experience creating and maintaining Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documents</li>\n <li>Familiarity with enterprise applications and data management processes</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable outcomes</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams with both business and technical groups</li>\n <li>Strong organization, coordination, and time management skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>NICE TO HAVE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with call center or customer data environments</li>\n <li>Familiarity with data governance, compliance, or security standards in analytics projects</li>\n <li>Experience with BI tools beyond Power BI, such as Tableau or Looker</li>\n <li>Exposure to Agile project delivery and tools like Jira or Confluence</li>\n <li>Understanding of business system architecture and enterprise application integrations</li>\n <li>Ability to perform data modeling or advanced analytics to support reporting and decision-making</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ABOUT ADASTRA</strong></p>\n<p>Adastra is a global leader in AI and data-driven transformation, helping organizations lead with artificial intelligence—responsibly, strategically, and at scale.
