Job Title: Associate Chief Engineer – Piping Stress

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Associate Chief Engineer – Piping Stress , reporting directly to HOD – Piping to join our Piping team based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and manage the responsibilities below.
Perform stress calculations of all kinds of piping networks including critical ones
Perform stress analysis and/or review and update existing analyses of piping systems connected to critical rotating equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, filters, Compressors, tanks, Turbines and Air coolers using Caesar II software to qualify piping in accordance with ASME codes, project standard and project specifications.
Issues piping loads to civil and structural discipline for design of pipe-rack/ technological structures and foundations
Responsible for the design of all piping supports components
Review of Client’s technical documentation and requirements
Preparation of project piping stress specification and critical lines list
Prepare technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components required by stress analysis
Checking of sub-contracted stress and support engineering documents
Checking of isometrics being issued for construction for stress and support point of view
Evaluate calculated stress results, displacement stress range, and pipe support loads.
Work with other engineers and designers in the resolution of the technical issues.
Required Skills and Experience:

Languages: English (Fluent)
Main skills:
Knowledge and experience with various ASME/ API/ NEMA/ TEMA/ ASTM, IS codes and standards as well as various PMC standards.
Conversant with stress analysis of piping connected to various types of equipment like Column, tanks, exchangers, pumps/ compressors etc.
Qualifications & Experience:
BE/B.Tech – Mechanical/ Chemical 18+ years of experience in FEED, Design & detail engineering of LSTK / EPCM Projects of Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemicals
