    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>As a Software Developer you will have the opportunity to do the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrate a knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design</li>\n <li>Develop, evaluate, and review C++ language code programming using C++, Python 3, and MATLAB</li>\n <li>Have experience with model-based system engineering approaches</li>\n <li>Collaborate with team members to design future enhancements</li>\n <li>Develop software for an advanced synthetic modeling and training environment. </li>\n <li>Support software development, software integration, customer training, and demonstrations.</li>\n <li>Develop Web-based applications using development technology</li>\n <li>Design tests ensuring proper behavior of models.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 4-5 years of relevant work experience</li>\n <li>At least 4-5 years with weapons systems modeling. </li>\n <li>BS in Computer Science or Engineering. Degrees in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace, Computer, Software Systems, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering may qualify with at least 5 year's of C++ experience</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance </li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $105,000.00/Yr. - USD $135,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
