(LGESMI) develops and manufactures large lithium-ion polymer batteries and packs for electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage applications. &nbsp;Come join the leader in advanced EV batteries! &nbsp; <a href=\"http://www.lgenergymi.com/\" target=\"_blank\">www.lgenergymi.com</a></p><p><strong>Summary</strong></p><p>The Part Leader/Manager is responsible for leading supplier quality teams to meet the requirements for the engineering, production, customer in a safe and timely manner. This position is responsible for driving world class manufacturing performance by developing a talented workforce through planning, coordinating and executing its manufacturing processes. Manager monitors the supplier quality for production performance of lithium ion battery related materials/products to ensure accurate, targeted volumes are produced at the highest quality and lowest cost while providing support to LGESMI.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:<ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li>Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain</li><li>Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container</li></ol></li><li>Drive and support quality improvement efforts internally and externally</li><li>Results for this position will be measured by internal customer satisfaction and supplier metrics.</li><li>Respond to, and fully support, company plant production by ensuring all parts meet engineering requirement</li><li>Responsible for advanced product quality planning, and successful launch of components</li><li>Ensure that internal needs for Control Systems are established, communicated and met in a timely and functional manner</li><li>Utilize analytical skill sets to implement root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective action</li><li>Optimize Process Capability on critical characteristics with in the quality team through effective application of statistical analysis techniques and Problem-Solving</li><li>Proactively work with suppliers to minimize and/or eliminate launch and ongoing quality/performance issues.</li><li>Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience</li><li>Must be Bilingual in Korean and English.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to travel domestic and internationally.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must have at least 3+ years of managerial experience in Manufacturing/Quality Assurance/Engineering experience in the Manufacturing industry or equivalent experience</li><li>Experience working in a large global manufacturing company, preferably automotive&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of 8-D&rsquo;s, Fishbone Diagrams, 5 &ndash; Why&rsquo;s, LSS six sigma or other problem-solving tools.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong computer skills: MS Office.&nbsp;</li><li>Able to work flexible hours as needed to support and work with HQ and global sites</li><li>Complete daily documentation and audits, as required by position</li><li>Maintain 5S and 3R standards</li><li>Adhere to general, and position-specific, dress code requirements</li><li>Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must have demonstrated knowledge of APQP, inspection equipment and techniques, root cause failure analysis, capability studies, statistical distributions, machine and assembly processes, problem solving, PFD/PFMEA/Control Plan, PPAP, 8D/5Why, team facilitation and geometric dimensioning and tolerance</li><li>Six sigma Black Belt preferred, Green Belt required.</li><li>Data analysis skills</li><li>Must be able to excel, PowerPoint, pivot table, equation, plot for data analysis</li><li>Experience with report writing in Microsoft Word and graphical analysis in Minitab strongly preferred.</li><li>Experience with Global Plant and Supplier Development a plus.</li><li>MS Office and Minitab</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support and work with HQ and global sites</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Benefits Overview</strong></p><ul><li>100% employer paid Medical, Dental, and Vision premium for you and your family</li><li>100% employer-paid disability and life insurance</li><li>Employer supported childcare/babysitting programs</li><li>Generous Paid Time Off / Holidays</li><li>Opportunity to grow in diverse work environment with a global company</li><li>401k Retirement savings and planning with generous company match</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>LGESMI is an Equal Opportunity employer that values the diversity of its workforce.
