    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "Job Description \n<p></p>\n<p>Protects and safeguards system property, personnel, patients and visitors. Maintains order, detects crime, and works to prevent future occurrences; operates system vehicles; enforces System Security policies.</p>\n<p>Job Responsibility</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>1.Patrols and monitors buildings and grounds to protect life and property and to prevent fire, thefts, vandalism, illegal entry and enforce hospital policies.<br/>2.Enforces access control policy; secures doors, locks, etc. and activates or de-activates alarms, as required.<br/>3.Controls and regulates pedestrian and vehicular traffic in a safe, orderly and respectful manner.<br/>4.Operates and maintains facility vehicles in accordance with regulatory compliance and policies.<br/>5.Operates and maintains all security and facility equipment in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines and facility policies.<br/>6.Writes incident report in accordance with policies and procedures to document events.<br/>7.Checks contents of packages. Assists security personnel in the performance of their duties, through the use of physical force, when required.<br/>8.Reports all fire hazards and safety violations; escorts hospital personnel, as required.<br/>9.Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.</p>\n<p>Job Qualification</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>•High School Diploma or equivalent required.<br/>•Valid NYS Security Guard license or a current NYS Police/Peace Officer as defined by the NYS Criminal Procedure Law section 1.20 required.<br/>•1 year as a NYS licensed Security Guard preferred.</p>\n<br><b>*Additional Salary Detail</b>\n<br>\n The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).",
