Join us and be part of something extraordinary.</p>\n<p>We’re seeking a future team member for the role of <b>Vice President, Application Support/Production Services</b> to join our Fund and Investor Solutions team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, LM.</p>\n<p><b>In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure high availability, performance, and operational stability of production systems.</li>\n <li>Coordinate major incident response, service restoration, escalation handling, and stakeholder communications.</li>\n <li>Drive root cause analysis and permanent remediation for recurring incidents and platform issues.</li>\n <li>Partner with engineering and development teams to improve application resiliency, supportability, and release quality.</li>\n <li>Implement and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities across applications and infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Oversee production readiness, change implementation, release support, and operational governance.</li>\n <li>Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve service efficiency.</li>\n <li>Track service metrics, incident trends, platform health indicators, and operational risk items.</li>\n <li>Support capacity planning, environment stability, continuity, recovery readiness, and controls compliance.</li>\n <li>Mentor production support teams and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Advanced certifications in application support or IT service management preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** Typically 6-10 years of experience.</li>\n <li>Relevant experience supporting enterprise production applications in a high-availability environment.</li>\n <li>Good understanding of incident management, problem management, change management, and production governance.</li>\n <li>Hands-on knowledge of application monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar platforms.</li>\n <li>Experience with Unix/Linux environments and strong scripting skills in Shell, Python, or Perl for automation and diagnostics.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of SQL and experience troubleshooting across relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with middleware and integration technologies, including APIs, messaging systems, and batch processing frameworks.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting distributed systems in cloud and hybrid environments, including infrastructure, networking, and platform dependencies.</li>\n <li>Understanding of release management, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and environment controls.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of ITIL-based service management processes.</li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting skills across application, infrastructure, database, and network layers.</li>\n <li>Experience with scheduling tools, job monitoring, and operational workflows in complex enterprise ecosystems.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of resilience practices including high availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and performance tuning.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at:</b></p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.bny.com/corporate/global/en/about-us/newsroom.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">BNY Newsroom</a></p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/company/bnyglobal/posts/?feedView=all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">BNY LinkedIn&nbsp;</a></p>\n<p><b>Here’s a few of our recent awards:</b></p>\n<p>America’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025</p>\n<p>World’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025</p>\n<p>“Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025</p>\n<p><b>Our Benefits and Rewards:</b></p>\n<p>BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
