Description
Camp Lake Hubert is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team for the Summer 2026 season. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen while being part of a meaningful, youth-focused environment. The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for campers and staff, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to food safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including proteins, vegetables, and scratch-made items, in a high-volume camp setting Follow established recipes, portioning, and presentation standards Ensure meals are prepared efficiently to meet scheduled service times Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring an “inspection-ready” kitchen at all times Assist with product storage, inventory organization, and kitchen operations Support team members and contribute to a positive kitchen environment Perform additional duties as assigned Job Requirements:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and consistency Excellent time management and teamwork skills Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks Ability to read labels and follow safety procedures Education & Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen (camp, resort, school, or restaurant experience preferred) Experience with batch cooking and/or feeding large groups is a plus Food safety certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver’s license may be required for certain duties
