Learn more about DEI at Seismic here.</strong>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Cloud Engineering team at Seismic is responsible for infrastructure deployed through infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices across all major clouds. The Production Engineering Team within Cloud Engineering advances the Seismic DevOps Model by abstracting away the complexities of infrastructure and operational processes by building tools and frameworks.   </p>\n<p>The Production Engineering team provides vision and guidance, along with other Cloud Engineering teams, to the organization for development and problem-solving, and strives for cloud agnostic standardized approaches wherever possible.  The Production Engineering is expanding to be globally distributed and an expansion of our North America based team.  You will be at the forefront of this endeavor as the first member(s) of our team in India.   </p>\n<p>The Production Engineering team’s focus is on using development skills to continually build and improve tooling and processes to empower not only ourselves, but also the Engineering organization. </p>\n<h2>Who you are:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Comfortable asking questions and respectfully voicing your opinion in group settings. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Comfortable providing and discussing a recommendation after evaluating multiple solutions. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experienced working in a software development environment with a strong focus on backend engineering, API design, and building internal developer platforms. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Production-level expertise in object-oriented or scripting languages, with a strong preference for Python or C#. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (such as Ansible or Terraform) to bridge the gap between software and operations. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Have a strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, networking, and infrastructure fundamentals in a multi-region microservice architecture environment.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Comfortable collaborating within a global team.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub CoPilot (e.g., code generation, infrastructure-as-code suggestions, test generation, issue troubleshooting).  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, identify failure modes, and apply sound engineering judgment before promoting changes to production.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Curious and pragmatic about applying AI to operational problems (reliability, observability, incident response, cost optimization, developer experience) rather than viewing AI as a novelty.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Understands the importance of data quality, context, and access controls when using AI in environments with sensitive production data.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Interested in continuously learning and adapting as AI tooling and capabilities evolve within the software development lifecycle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What you'll be doing:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Drive development and maintenance of our .NET tenant management tooling and automation. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and build robust software solutions and APIs to eliminate manual work related to tenant creation, deletion, renaming, migration, and refresh processes. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to best practices and build out tools and frameworks to increase productivity of our Engineering group.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Work closely with application development teams and incorporate their feedback to improve developer experience and reduce toil.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Present plans and proposals to Engineering Leadership.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead projects as we execute objectives shared across our Production Engineering team. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide guidance to less senior engineers.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in a 12 hours on, 12 hours off on-call rotation within the Production Engineering team.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate software development, testing, and documentation while ensuring reliability, security, and compliance standards are met. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Apply AI techniques to reduce operational toil, such as automated analysis of automation failures.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and build internal tooling that incorporates AI capabilities when appropriate. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Job Posting Footer</h2>\n<p>If you are an individual with a disability and would like to request a reasonable accommodation as part of the application or recruiting process, please click here.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Headquartered in San Diego and with employees across the globe, Seismic is the global leader in sales <strong>enablement</strong>, backed by firms such as Permira, Ameriprise Financial, EDBI, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and T.
