The founder is currently handling most of the editing and graphics production personally and is now seeking a creative VA to help scale content production efficiently while maintaining the current visual style and quality. Primary Objective of the Role Social media graphic creation Short-form video editing Testimonial and marketing video editing Content production support Creative asset organization and management The ideal VA should be creative, detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of matching existing editing and design styles while working independently with minimal supervision. Core Responsibilities Social Media Graphic Design Create engaging social media graphics based on existing design styles Maintain consistency with previously created content Design promotional posts, marketing creatives, and branded social media assets Repurpose existing content into new graphic formats Organize and manage graphic assets and templates Assist in scaling creative output production efficiently Important Note: The client does not require strict corporate branding guidelines Graphics should align with the current visual style already established Creativity and consistency are highly valued Video Editing Support Edit short-form marketing and testimonial videos Assemble and organize raw footage into polished final outputs Add transitions, captions, music, and light effects where appropriate Edit videos optimized for social media platforms Maintain a clean, modern, and professional editing style Follow creative briefs and examples provided by the client Assist in increasing video production capacity File Management & Collaboration Download and organize raw footage from Dropbox or shared folders Maintain organized project files and deliverables Communicate efficiently regarding revisions and project updates Collaborate closely with the founder to maintain creative consistency Required Skills & Qualifications Required Skills Strong experience in short-form video editing Experience creating social media graphics Ability to match an existing creative style Strong attention to detail Good understanding of social media content formatting Efficient workflow and turnaround time Ability to work independently Good communication skills Organized file management skills Preferred Skills Experience working with marketing agencies or content creators Experience editing testimonial-style content Understanding of social media engagement-focused creatives Basic motion graphics experience (preferred but not required) Required Tools & Software Video Editing Preferred proficiency in: Adobe Premiere Pro (highly preferred) DaVinci Resolve (acceptable alternative) Graphic Design Preferred proficiency in: Canva Adobe Photoshop (optional but beneficial) File Sharing & Collaboration Dropbox or cloud-based file sharing platforms Expected Weekly Output Estimated weekly deliverables may include: Approximately 4–5 edited short form videos per week Ongoing social media graphic production Additional creatives depending on workload demand Workload may fluctuate depending on client projects and campaigns. VA Personality & Work Style Preferences The ideal VA should be: Creative and visually detail-oriented Fast and efficient Proactive Reliable with deadlines Adaptable to changing workloads Comfortable working independently Receptive to feedback and revisions Able to follow an existing creative direction closely Working Arrangement Initial setup: Part-time arrangement Minimum 10 hours/week VA to seek Client’s OT approval is 10hrs/week is reached Flexible working schedule Potential to increase hours as workload grows Ongoing long-term opportunity depending on performance and business growth Important Notes from Client Main current priority is content production support Video editing required is mostly basic to intermediate short-form editing Graphics are mainly social media creatives Client will provide raw footage and examples Creative consistency is more important than strict brand guideline adherence Client is open to candidates with stronger skill sets even at the higher end of the rate range Portfolios and sample work are highly important during the screening process Trial/sample tasks may potentially be requested after portfolio review Client values efficiency, quality, and scalability of creative output",
