    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Commercial Analyst reviews, evaluates, and identifies opportunities to support growth and efficiencies across all business segments</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Establish, develop and maintain customer relationships for Centerline Logistics Corporation and all subsidiary companies</li>\n <li>Assist in demurrage calculations</li>\n <li>Assist in contract admin </li>\n <li>Ensure on hire and off hire times are accurate and timely</li>\n <li>Ad Hoc reporting and operational research</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain reports to track planned and unplanned service disruptions, and utilization</li>\n <li>Assist in tracking and maintaining maintenance banks </li>\n <li>Work closely with Commercial, Dispatch, Operations, and Accounting departments as needed to ensure efficient communication and company wide objectives are met.  </li>\n <li>Performs related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not required.</li>\n <li>1-3 years of Maritime Experience Preferred</li>\n <li>Must have some knowledge of the marine petroleum transportation industry</li>\n <li>Must be able to develop and maintain professional relationships</li>\n <li>Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills</li>\n <li>Experience with maritime associations and sales preferred.</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. </li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Experience and knowledge in petroleum transport and logistics, terminal transfers, and bunkering.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read, speak, write, type, and understand English in person and over telephone.</li>\n <li>Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of customer relations, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. </li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced office setting and be capable of handling multiple projects with firm deadlines.</li>\n <li>Ability to deal with others using courtesy, tact, and good judgment. </li>\n <li>Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive communications. </li>\n <li>Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions.</li>\n <li>Computer skills that include, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and typing of a minimum of 60 words per minute.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with office staff, customers and vessel crew members.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Job Condition and Environment</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Periodic travel expected</li>\n <li>Work with but not limited to computers, fax machines, copiers</li>\n <li>May be required to sit for long periods of time.</li>\n <li>Infrequent light physical effort required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Expected Hours of Work</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Normal office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.</li>\n <li>Some after hours and weekend hours may be required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>Centerline Logistics is a leading provider of marine transportation services in the United States.
