The Infusion Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in the Infusion Center setting and uses sound judgment and cognitive abilities to make patient care decisions based on scientific nursing knowledge.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Primary Responsibilities</strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li>Escorts patients to exam rooms &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Gathers vital sign to include weight, blood pressure, pulse rate and respirations &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Updates and documents patient medical records with current medications, allergies, relevant problems and complaints, and records problem list, if applicable &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Provides instruction, education and direction to patience regarding routine medical questions, procedures, and tests &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Refills prescriptions as outlined in WAGI policies &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains and inventories sample medications &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Schedules procedure appointments, labs, x-rays, and follow up visits for the patient; ensures patient understanding and documents in medical records</li><li>Demonstrates consistent IV therapy skills</li><li>Administers IV and observe patients during infusions</li><li>Maintains exam rooms clean between patients &nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&nbsp;</span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington</li><li>Previous clinical or gastroenterology experience preferred</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certification</li><li>Phlebotomy skills required</li><li>Ability to start IV access and manage infusions</li><li>Ability to actively collaborate and build a strong team within the Center and with the rest of WAGI</li></ul><p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&nbsp;</span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Physical Activities and Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to stand and walk throughout the day, up to 10 hours per day</li><li>Prolonged periods of sitting and performing administrative duties including the use of computers</li><li>Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach</li><li>Able to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed (up to 25 pounds)</li><li>As a healthcare organization, the candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. WAGI will consider requests for religious or medical accommodation exemptions from this requirement as allowed under the Mandate at the time of conditional Job Offer through Human Resources. &nbsp;Your vaccination status is confidential information and will not be shared with the Hiring Manager.</li></ul><p><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Compensation and Benefits</strong></p><p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Employees (and their families) who work full time (defined as working 30 or more hours per week) will be eligible for </span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, and basic life insurance</strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">. &nbsp;In addition employees are able to enroll in our company&rsquo;s</span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&nbsp;401(k)</strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\"> plan which includes a company provided safe harbor contribution of 3% of annual earnings and the potential for a company discretionary profit sharing contribution.</span></p><p>&nbsp;<span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">All employees will be eligible to accrue </span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">PTO</strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\"> at a rate of .04 hours per payroll hour (1.6 hours for a 40 hour week) which can be used for and exceeds the required mandatory WA State and other local ordinances. &nbsp;In addition, full time employees will be eligible for a </span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Vacation</strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\"> accrual with a maximum annual accrual of 77 hours as a new hire.</span></p><p>&nbsp;<span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">WAGI has 8 standard </span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Holidays</strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\"> each year for which full time employees are eligible to receive paid holiday. &nbsp;In addition, full time employees will be given 1 </span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Float Holiday</strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\"> each year that they can schedule.</span></p><p>&nbsp;<span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">A new hire full time employee in this role will be eligible for a </span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Hiring Bonus&nbsp;</strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">in the amount of <strong>$3,000.00</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">This is an </span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Hourly&nbsp;</strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">position and the anticipated </span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Compensation</strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\"> range is<strong>&nbsp;$38.00-$42.00</strong>.
