    "description": "<p>The primary responsibilities of the Client&#39;s I&amp;E Designer shall include,</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Facilitating project design and drafting management in accordance with industry and company STD&rsquo;s as necessary to ensure the successful completion of all project related activities.&nbsp; Detailed items include:</p>\r\n\r\n<p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assigning electrical equipment and instrument tagging numbers</p>\r\n\r\n<p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assigning conduit and cable numbers</p>\r\n\r\n<p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Resolving drawing development issues</p>\r\n\r\n<p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Drafting changes to record drawings<br />\r\n<br />\r\nMUST HAVE SENIOR LEVEL EXPERIENCE.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Preparation of process flow diagrams (PFD), piping &amp; instrument diagrams (P&amp;ID), general equipment layouts, facility plot plans, and equipment and instrument lists for various company plant, pipeline and related facilities construction projects.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in the development of Project Scopes, Engineering / Design Scopes, and Construction Scopes of Work, for use in the establishment of contracts with third parties.</li>\r\n\t<li>Attend project meetings to obtain full understanding of customer needs and scope definitions, and to provide technical input toward efficient and effective designs.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in the review of man hour estimates and work schedules to assure efficiency in the execution of projects.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in coordinating the distribution of design packages related to projects to ensure that all stakeholders are allowed input, and that all necessary information is exchanged.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide design and drafting services for time / budget critical projects.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide design and drafting services associated with the preliminary development of potential projects.</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicate with vendors for materials quotes and availability of materials.</li>\r\n\t<li>Create parts lists by performing material take-offs to ensure the timely availability of items.</li>\r\n\t<li>Development of material data sheets.</li>\r\n\t<li>Generate material requisitions for submittal to project manager for approvals.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain record of documents and correspondence pertaining to technical design issues throughout the development of projects.</li>\r\n\t<li>Participate in the development and maintenance of Company standard drawings.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain a high level of expertise in necessary areas of design and drafting and ensure access to specialty resources and technology</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in the development and implementation of specifications and procedures related to the handling of department business to facilitate lower costs in the creation and maintenance of drawings and documentation.</li>\r\n\t<li>Coordinate with Project Managers, purchasing agents, inspectors, engineering contractors, and construction contractors relating to design drawing content, materials and construction issues.</li>\r\n\t<li>Coordinate with Project Managers and Engineering on design and project logistical issues to assure effective, linear progress of the project.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide the drafting associated with daily operation of the system along with coordinating with CADD Operator.</li>\r\n\t<li>&nbsp;Provide guidance so to enhance the ability of others to obtain required information through the use of departmentally developed tools and methods.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be willing and able to travel by air and/or automobile to facility sites as required.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
