    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Position Summary</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Part time PM position 2pm to 10:30pm position approximately 35 hours in a 2 week period will include every other weekend with various days scheduled in pay period.</strong> In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to the Sisters in the infirmary and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by certified nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations as well as established facility policies and procedures.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Direct the daily activities of the certified nursing assistants and resident care associates in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations and established company policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Follow the nursing model to promote holistic care for the residents.</li>\n <li>Ensure that policies and procedures are complied with by nursing personnel assigned.</li>\n <li>Participate in the admission, discharge and transfers of residents as required.</li>\n <li>Assess for changes in residents’ status, notifying the physician and resident’s family or representative and documenting accordingly.</li>\n <li>Transcribe physician orders to medical record and carry out orders as written.</li>\n <li>Prepare and administer medications as per physicians’ orders and observe for adverse effects as indicated.</li>\n <li>Perform wound treatments per physicians’ orders, observe for changes and documents accordingly as indicated.</li>\n <li>Schedule follow up appointments for residents and transportation needs as indicated.</li>\n <li>Provide nursing leadership to nursing personnel assigned to the unit.</li>\n <li>Provide direct care skills such as colostomy changes, tube feedings, wound care, suctioning, IV administration, etc. in accordance with current policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Perform rounds to ensure resident needs are being met and personnel are performing their assigned duties. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team as needed to ensure residents’ needs are holistically met. </li>\n <li>Report any incidents or unusual occurrences to the community’s leadership team.</li>\n <li>Ensure that there is adequate stock of medications, supplies, equipment and notify appropriate personnel of needs.</li>\n <li>Initiate, review and update care plans as required.</li>\n <li>Participate in the survey process when inspection surveys arise.</li>\n <li>May participate in QAPI activities as needed or assigned.</li>\n <li>Ensure that infection control principles are followed and help correct deficiencies in practice as noted. </li>\n <li>Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, misappropriation of property, exploitation, or mistreatment of residents to supervisor and/or administrator.  </li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Position Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Education</strong>: A nursing degree from an accredited college or university</p>\n<p><strong>Licenses/Certifications: </strong>Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state </p>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong>: 1+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics</p>\n<p><strong>Skills</strong> <strong>& Abilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to demonstrate compassion when working with residents.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Min</h2>USD $35.00/Yr.\n<h2>Max</h2>USD $35.00/Yr.",
