That means making sure we have the best team available who believe that taking care of our staff is just as important to us as taking care of our patients.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Summary of the </strong><strong>Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA):</strong></p>\n<p>A PTA is responsible for assisting Physical Therapist in helping patients recover and rehabilitate from the effects of a serious illness, injury or medical event, regaining their own best possible level of functional ability, well-being and independence.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements of </strong><strong>Registered Physical Therapists (PTA):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current Florida License as a PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant)</li>\n <li>Current CPR</li>\n <li>At least one (1) experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.<p>https://info.flclearinghouse.com/</p>#PARAMOUNT123</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the </strong><strong>Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist.</li>\n <li>Contributes to a physical therapist’s effectiveness by identifying patient care issues.</li>\n <li>Administers treatment programs for patients.</li>\n <li>Assesses patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining updating, and studying therapy histories.</li>\n <li>Evaluates abnormal conditions by reviewing physical therapist’s interpretations of patient evaluations and test results..</li>\n <li>Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities.</li>\n <li>Helps patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.</li>\n <li>     Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens, giving normal growth and development information, and promoting wellness and health maintenance.</li>\n</ul>",
