Our core functions encompass Enterprise & Technical Architecture, Network & Voice, Infrastructure, Service Delivery, Service Operations, Data & Analytics, Security & Quality Compliance, Transformation, Application Development, Enterprise Platforms, With a dedicated team of over 500 staff, Product & Technology ensures a strong presence across all regions, enabling efficient and effective support to our global operations.</p>\n<h2>Job Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and develop scalable backend services using <strong>Node.js</strong> and <strong>Expressjs.</strong></li>\n <li>Build and maintain <strong>RESTful APIs</strong> with strong security and performance.</li>\n <li>Work with relational and NoSQL databases for efficient data modeling and query optimization.</li>\n <li>Implement asynchronous processing, caching, and background jobs.</li>\n <li>Ensure code quality through <strong>unit/integration testing</strong> and participate in code reviews.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with frontend engineers and other stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.</li>\n <li>Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills & Experience</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong proficiency in <strong>Node.js</strong>, <strong>Express</strong>, and JavaScript/TypeScript.</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of <strong>SQL</strong> and <strong>NoSQL</strong> databases.</li>\n <li>Experience with <strong>authentication/authorization</strong> (JWT, OAuth2).</li>\n <li>Familiarity with <strong>Redis</strong>, message queues, and performance tuning.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of <strong>Git</strong>, CI/CD, and testing frameworks (Jest/Mocha).</li>\n <li>Exposure to <strong>microservices architecture</strong>.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of <strong>API documentation</strong> tools (Swagger/OpenAPI).</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Life at RWS</h2>\n<p><strong>Life at RWS </strong><strong>-</strong> If you like the idea of working with smart people who are passionate about growing the value of ideas, data and content by making sure organizations are understood, then you’ll love life at RWS. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our purpose is to unlock global understanding.
