    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n <p><strong>Nemours Children’s Health, Milford is hiring a Per Diem, Physical Therapist to support our outpatient therapy team in Milford, Delaware.</strong></p>\n <p>This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, collaborative team in a multi-disciplinary clinic shared with Nemours Specialty and Primary Care. Our therapists provide evaluation and treatment for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses including post-operative care, sports injuries, and neurodevelopmental disorders, serving patients from birth through 18 years of age. We are also an early intervention partner with the Birth to Three program, providing clinic-based services.</p>\n <p>This per diem role is ideal for a flexible clinician who enjoys working in a fast-paced pediatric setting and can provide coverage during periods of increased volume, staff absences, or scheduling needs.</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Demonstrates proficiency in the care of all ages: pediatrics and adolescents.&nbsp;Demonstrates proficiency in the care of neonates as required by assignment.</li>\n  <li>Able to provide physical therapy services to a variety of patient types with recognition of his/her own limitations while seeking appropriate mentorship as needed.</li>\n  <li>Completes timely documentation as required by departmental policy #7980.3.3, Joint Commission, and CARF standards.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Attends meetings related to patient treatment and contributes to discussion as an interdisciplinary team member.</li>\n  <li>Consults with other services, families, and outside agencies to recommend durable medical equipment, home/school modifications and transitional therapy program prior to discharge from therapy.</li>\n  <li>Maintains knowledge of and familiarity with insurance referral/authorization process and documentation requirements related to therapy services.</li>\n  <li>Completes all mandatory training; may include, but not limited to safety, infection control, corporate compliance, HIPAA, bioterrorism, CPR and program specific respiratory training.</li>\n  <li>When required by assignment, participates in weekend/holiday inpatient coverage rotation.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li>\n </ul>\n <p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy or its equivalent from a CAPTE accredited university required. &nbsp;DPT is entry level for physical therapy.</li>\n  <li>Minimum of three (3) to six (6) months experience required. &nbsp;New graduates will be considered based on educational experiences.</li>\n  <li>State of Delaware Physical Therapist License required upon hire. Compact licensure is acceptable for primary and secondary licensure when the practitioner is eligible and maintains an active home-state license in a Compact state.</li>\n  <li>American Heart Association BLS certification required within 6 months of date of hire and must be maintained for duration of employment.</li>\n  <li>Member of professional specialty organizations (APTA) preferred.</li>\n  <li><strong>Clinical affiliation and/or work experience in pediatrics preferred.</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Experience with physically and/or mentally challenged populations preferred.</li>\n </ul>\n <p>Located just minutes from Rehoboth and Lewes beaches with easy access off Route 1, Nemours Children’s Health, Milford offers an excellent work/life balance in a supportive and team-oriented environment.</p>\n <p>#LI-EP1</p>\n</div>",
