This role requires operating roll-off and tractor-trailer equipment to deliver materials, conducting daily pre-operational checks, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials in compliance with safety protocols.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong> <em>What You Will Do</em>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Move various loads of material to designated areas throughout the yard as instructed by management.</li>\n <li>Conduct “milk-runs” throughout various facilities and deliver the nonferrous material to the yard.</li>\n <li>Safely operate roll off and tractor trailer equipment to transport material in most effective, timely manner as possible.</li>\n <li>Perform daily pre-operational checks on tractor, ability to top off any needed fluids.</li>\n <li>Buy, sort, grade nonferrous material.</li>\n <li>All other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><em>What We Look For</em>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous operation of roll off and/or tracker trailer a plus, but not required.</li>\n <li>Class A CDL is required.</li>\n <li>Ability to safely maneuver equipment throughout the yard, i.e. awareness of customers and employee traffic.</li>\n <li>Ability to work 1st shift hours w/OT and work on Saturdays.</li>\n <li>Able to work in all weather conditions.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated, team player dedicated to the organization.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking clearly over a two-way radio.</li>\n <li>Good decision making skills in a fast paced, ever changing work environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS</strong>: Omni offers competitive compensation and a full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, employee stock purchase plan, disability coverage, employee assistance program, paid vacation/holidays and 401K.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you are ready to take on this challenging and rewarding opportunity, apply today and join our dedicated team!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.</strong></em></p>",
