    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for meeting the social and therapeutic needs of the residents through activities, wellness interventions, leisure programming, and continued interaction with community groups.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Completes the wellness assigned portion of the assessment process.  Provides relevant daily events and programming to meet the needs of the residents.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Qualifications Required</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Valid Driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle assigned to operate</li>\n <li>Acceptable driving record that meets Benedictine requirements</li>\n <li>If the person holding this position leads the program they must meet qualifications as required by federal regulations §483.15(f)(2) The activities program must be directed by a qualified professional who-- \n  <ul>\n   <li>Is a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activities professional who-- \n    <ul>\n     <li>Is licensed or registered, if applicable, by the State in which practicing; and </li>\n     <li>Is eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or as an activities professional by a recognized accrediting body on or after October 1, 1990; or </li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li>Has 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years, 1 of which was full-time in a patient activities program in a health care setting; or</li>\n   <li>Is a qualified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant; or </li>\n   <li>Has completed a training course approved by the State.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications Preferred</p>\n<ul>\n <li>In good standing on the State Nursing Assistant Registry.</li>\n <li>BLS Certification.</li>\n <li>First Aid certification.</li>\n <li>Experience in long term care.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>EEO/AA/Vet Friendly</p>\n<h2>Salary Range</h2>$18.00-$21.72\n<h2>Benefits Statement</h2>\n<p>A robust benefits package is available to eligible associates, designed to meet the needs of every stage of life, including paid time off (PTO), retirement, medical, dental, vision, education assistance, and a variety of additional voluntary benefits.
