The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Build responsive, accessible UI components and pages using React, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.</li>\n <li>Work closely with designers to bring UI/UX wireframes to life and ensure a consistent, elegant user experience.</li>\n <li>Integrate front-end features with AWS services and secure APIs.</li>\n <li>Use Material Design / MaterialUI to create cohesive, polished interfaces.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with cross functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. </li>\n <li>Write clean, testable code and contribute to unit, integration, and E2E testing.</li>\n <li>Manage code and support deployments through Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.</li>\n <li>Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, standups, and retros.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot frontend issues, improve site performance, and ensure accessibility compliance.</li>\n <li>Maintain project documentation and support continuous improvement of standards and best practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>8+ years of experience in web or software development.</li>\n <li>4+ years of experience in the past 6 years in one of the following fields of expertise, AWS Cloud based solutions, C#, Java, Python (preference Python).</li>\n <li>Advanced React experience, with strong UI development skills.</li>\n <li>Proven experience building and maintaining frontend features in production.</li>\n <li>Strong skills with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.</li>\n <li>Experience integrating applications with AWS and using Material Design principles.</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps, and/or Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.</li>\n <li>Strong collaboration and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree.</li>\n <li>Experience with MaterialUI or similar component libraries.</li>\n <li>Hands-on experiences testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Docker or containerized application delivery.</li>\n <li>Experience optimizing React apps for performance and scalability.</li>\n <li>Prior experience supporting government or regulated environments.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Section 508 / WCAG accessibility standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p><em>Soft Tech Consulting, Inc. is a woman and minority-owned business headquartered in Chantilly, VA.
