Description We currently have an opening for an Outside Parts Sales Representative for our Saint John location. The successful candidate will need to be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service. We Offer: Competitive wages Quarterly bonus Registered retirement savings plan with company match Health, dental, vision and prescription benefits Life insurance Disability benefits Maternity leave top up program Paid vacation Paid sick time Fitness reimbursement program Clothing allowance program Employee recognition program Company discounts Excellent training programs Responsibilities Provide exceptional sales and service to customers Generating leads through cold calling, networking and referrals Managing a balanced sales funnel, executing all steps of the sales process from target to close to continually secure new business Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals and closes Maintain, grow and create new business in an assigned territory Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction maintaining close contact with all customers – including follow up on concerns or other issues Provide a solution-based sales approach to drive new business Provide documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis Follow all company policies, ethics and company procedures Ensure a safe working culture Qualifications Experience within with Parts or within the Transportation Industry would be considered an asset Extremely organized, flexible, proactive and creative Excellent selling, presentation and communication skills Strong business knowledge of North American transportation modes and customers Proven results and record of territory sales growth Detailed knowledge of various transportation modes and operating requirements Effective problem solving, organization and time management skills Self-starter: Self-motivated and able to work autonomously Solid negotiation skills and the ability to work with a focus on deadlines and business goals Ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels within the organization Possession of a valid license and suitable vehicle; must be willing to travel Company Founded in 1882, J.D.
