The general purpose of this position is to provide co-occurring substance abuse counseling services.</span></span></p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\"><strong>Essential Functions</strong>&nbsp;include:</span></span></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Provide clinical mental health services to co-occurring substance use clients&nbsp;</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Facilitate and co-facilitate individual, group, family, and crisis therapies</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Competencies and ability to provide empirically-supported psychotherapy to address a wide range of clinical and behavioral issues</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Provide intakes, diagnostic evaluations, and updates to evaluations</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Develop and implement a treatment plan</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Complete a Behavior Intervention/Crisis Plan</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Complete third party billing requirements such as obtaining prior authorizations and communicating with the billing office as necessary</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Collaborate regularly with both staff and community partners including: schools, social services, court services, medical agencies, mental health providers, managed care organizations and the community at large</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Participate in the referral process</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Maintain necessary written records in accordance with NPMHC policies and procedures and other applicable regulations</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Provide crisis intervention services as requested</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\"><strong>Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;include:</span></span></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">This position may be filled by a mental health professional licensed in Minnesota (LICSW, LMFT, LP, PMHNP, LPCC)</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Current First Aid and CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or willingness to obtain upon hire</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">At least one year of work experience in direct service to individuals with substance use problems or one year of work experience in the management or administration of direct service to individuals with substance use problems</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">A Master&#39;s degree in the behavioral sciences&nbsp;</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Education or experience in co-occurring disorders</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Travel is a function of this position;
