We are looking for a <strong>General Radiology Technologist&nbsp;</strong>to join our team. The pay range for this role will depend on experience and qualifications.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong>&nbsp; Mon-Fri 8:30-5pm with rotating Saturday&#39;s 8-12noon.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">The General Radiologic &amp; Mammography Technologist\nperforms diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures; reviews all\nnecessary documentation related to the procedures and performs related clinical\nand administrative duties.</p><p class=\"msonormal\"><strong>Essential Job Duties\nand Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li class=\"msonormal\">Demonstrated interest in meeting patient needs and assuring\npatient satisfaction.</li><li class=\"msonormal\">Operating knowledge of radiographic equipment.</li><li class=\"msonormal\">Performs all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic\nprocedures within assigned areas these procedures include Mammography.</li><li class=\"msonormal\">Reviews all necessary documentation to perform diagnostic\nprocedures.</li><li class=\"msonormal\">Performs preventative visual and manual inspections for each\nradiographic room/equipment assigned ensuring appropriate maintenance and\ncleanliness.</li><li class=\"msonormal\">Performs related clinical and clerical duties associated\nwith the patient procedure.</li><li class=\"msonormal\">Assists in the managing of the radiographic procedures\nthrough the coordination of resources, to facilitate optimal efficiency.\nAssures that the procedures performed are in accordance with policies and\nprocedures.</li><li class=\"msonormal\">Performs warm up calibration procedures necessary to ready\nthe equipment for patient imaging.</li><li class=\"msonormal\">Assists in the procurement of all necessary supplies.</li><li class=\"msonormal\">Informs the supervisor of any equipment needing repair to\ninsure prompt service.</li><li class=\"msonormal\">Contributes to a positive climate and open communication for\na team approach.</li><li class=\"msonormal\">Maintains certification and licensure by attending\ncontinuing education classes.</li></ul><p class=\"msonormal\"><strong>Educational\nRequirements:</strong></p><p class=\"msonormal\">College degree preferred:&nbsp;RRT (RT)(R)(M) and CT State License required</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Work Smart, Live Well</strong>: The success of Advanced Radiology is earned every day through our dedication to quality patient care and continual improvement of the patient experience.
