Work with subcontractors for lawn mowing and snow removal from parking lots.</li>\n <li>Painting and light construction in facility as needed.</li>\n <li>Work unsupervised safely and effectively. Must be able to follow instructions.</li>\n <li>Regularly and reliably work the scheduled hours. Ability to work overtime when workload requires.</li>\n <li>Other duties as needed to assist Maintenance department.</li>\n <li>Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work area in accordance with Daktronics Safety Policy and OSHA standards. Items may include the following: safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, electrostatic discharge wear, and others as determined necessary by Daktronics Risk and Safety Department.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>To be considered for the Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Position, we require the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required.</li>\n <li>Good communication skills. </li>\n <li>Prefer experience operating various types of material handling equipment or will train. Skid Steer, plow, mowers, and other equipment as required.</li>\n <li>Be able to lift heavy (up to 50 lbs.) and/or awkward items and stand for a full shift.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with some odors.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with minimum supervision and organize and prioritize work.</li>\n <li>Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team.</li>\n <li>Working from heights, including ladders and platforms.</li>\n <li>The selected individual must be able to travel by air and ground and comply with the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy to begin and maintain employment.
