    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><strong>POSITION PURPOSE:</strong><br>Under the direction of the Logistics Manager the Driver/Attendant will function within the guidelines of the companies and department Policies and Procedures. He/she is responsible for the safe transport of patients to and from all CHI centers. Also, transport and performs other request by the departments for CHI business.<br><br><br><strong>POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:</strong><br><br><strong><ins>Education/Experience:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</ins></strong><br>High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Two (2) years experience as a driver desired.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><strong><ins>Licensure / Certification:</ins></strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Maintain current CPR certification from the American Heart Association. First Aid Training course to be obtained within 60 days of employment. Must be licensed for seven (7) years and have a valid Florida CDL License.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><strong><ins>Skills / Ability:</ins></strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Ability to read road maps, and complete paper work as required. Ability to move and/or lift patients and equipment.<br><br><br><strong>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (THIS IS A NON-EXEMPT POSITION)</strong><br><br>Operates assigned equipment and performs all procedures in a safe manner as instructed.<br><br>Picks up patients and transports to designated service areas on a daily basis.<br><br>Make special deliveries as requested by supervisor.<br><br>Follows established schedules for transportation.<br><br>Exercises care and good judgment in providing a safe environment for the patients.<br><br>Transports and delivers pharmacy medications, medical records, inter-office mail, supplies, x-ray etc., to the different sites on a daily basis.<br><br>Follows Posted and Universal Precautions at all times when body fluids or other chemicals are present.<br><br>Driver will maintain a professional, courteous attitude toward patient and co-workers at all times.<br><br>Follows appropriate Departmental and Company Policies and Procedures.<br><br>Immediately informs supervisor/designee of any delays or problems that arise, seek to provide safe solutions to identified problems.<br><br>Informs supervisor/designee immediately of any accident involving patients, vehicle, etc., following Departmental and Company Policies and Procedures.<br><br>Performs daily safety and other regularly scheduled preventive maintenance on vehicles in accordance with PM Program.<br><br>Performs daily routine check i.e. tires, all fluid levels, lights, body damage.<br><br>Follows all Florida Driving Laws and maintain current licensure.<br><br>Maintains passenger statistics.<br><br>Answers the radio within four rings with average response time of 3 minutes.<br><br>Attends mandatory in-services training and annual updates as required by Companies Policies and Procedures.<br><br>Reports to work on time and ready to work with minimal absenteeism.<br><br>Adheres to Confidentiality Policies and Procedures / HIPAA Regulations.<br><br>Performs other duties as assigned.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br></p></div></div>\n",
