    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The compensation range for this position is between $68,900.00 and $76,502.40.&nbsp;</p><p class=\"FirstParagraph\">&nbsp;</p><p class=\"FirstParagraph\"><span lang=\"EN\"><strong>Position Summary:</strong></span></p><p><span lang=\"EN\">As the Structural Engineer on the team, you will support the design and construction of electrical substations, greenfield stations, battery storage stations, transmission lines, and other electrical infrastructure. You will report directly to Operational Leadership within the region. The work supports the maintenance and upgrade of the nation's electrical grid system to accommodate the increase in electrical generation and load demand.</span></p><p><span lang=\"EN\"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span></p><p><span lang=\"EN\">You will be responsible for projects from the proposal development to execution of engineering designs, to construction support for structural aspects of electrical infrastructure projects.</span></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 48px;\"><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Under supervision of a senior structural engineer, complete structural analysis, perform calculations, and prepare sketches and drawings for the design of supporting structures and foundations for substation equipment, transmission line structures and other energy infrastructure.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Support structural efforts on engineering services and EPC projects.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Ensure that a complete design package (drawings, bill of materials, construction specifications, etc.) is delivered to the client within budget and on time with a high level of quality.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Collaborate, communicate, and liaise effectively with other design disciplines, colleagues, construction contractors, consultants, materials suppliers, and clients.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Assure all designs meet local, state, and federal regulations, as well as any client specifications at all phases of the project.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Perform reviews of existing facilities to propose upgrades and replacements and present findings and recommendations to clients and peers.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">As-built and project closeout support.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Visit sites, advise on engineering issues, and modify design to solve issues during construction.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Regular attendance is required</span></p></li></ul><p class=\"FirstParagraph\">&nbsp;</p><p class=\"FirstParagraph\"><span lang=\"EN\"><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 48px;\"><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with completion of coursework in steel and concrete design (Masters preferred) from an Accredited Institution.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">0-2 years of electrical utility design experience with evidence of increasing responsibility.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Experience writing and providing support documentation for structural engineering calculations.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Familiarity with the practical application of structural engineering including analysis for structural supports, loads, and design integrity for utility electrical substation, energy, renewables, or transmission line projects.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Familiarity with IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI 318.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Familiarity with the following programs:</span></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 48px;\"><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">MathCad</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">STAAD PRO / Risa 3D</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Tedds</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">LPile</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">FAD Tools</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">SP Mats</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">AutoCAD / Microstation</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">MS Office Applications</span></p></li></ul></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Excellent problem solving and communication skills including presentation and technical writing.
