The Role We are looking for a Founding Value Engineer to build and scale Legora’s value engineering function from the ground up. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Customer Success, and is critical to how we win and expand enterprise customers. You will work directly with prospects and customers to quantify, articulate, and prove the business impact of Legora - translating product capabilities into clear, measurable outcomes. You will partner closely with Account Executives and Sales / Legal Engineers as part of a “three-legged stool” on strategic deals, helping customers answer a fundamental question: “Why is this worth it?” This is both a hands-on individual contributor role and a foundational role - you will define the playbooks, frameworks, and assets that shape how Legora communicates value globally. What You'll Do Own value creation in strategic deals by partnering with AEs and Sales Engineers on enterprise and high-value deals Build compelling, executive-ready narratives by translating complex legal workflows into clear financial and operational impact Quantify impact beyond cost savings by enhancing workforce effectiveness and productivity enablement Create repeatable playbooks by use case, segment, and persona Support renewals and expansions through quantified impact reporting Define when and how value engineering engages in the sales process What You Bring Experience translating complex products and workflows into clear, quantified business impact in customer-facing environments. Experience in translating workflows into financial impact and build credible, defensible business cases. You are comfortable working with both high-level assumptions and structured models. You can distill complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives tailored to executive audiences. You can engage directly with General Counsel, CFOs, and other C-level executives. You communicate clearly and concisely, and can lead value conversations, not just support them You can deliver high-quality outputs quickly without over-engineering.
