    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Weber Gallagher</strong> has an immediate opening for an experienced<strong><em>&nbsp;Partner</em></strong> to join the General Liability practice group. The individual will be responsible for handling a wide range of general liability, defense litigation matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. &nbsp;</p><p>  &nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Analyze complex legal and factual issues and prepare&nbsp;well-reasoned legal&nbsp;recommendations&nbsp;to&nbsp;the client.</li><li>Draft pleadings, answer written discovery, take depositions, and conduct&nbsp;arbitrations and/or&nbsp;trials.</li><li>Communicate with clients,&nbsp;the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel while adhering to all deadlines.</li><li>Some local travel for&nbsp;trials, court conferences etc. typically&nbsp;local to NJ and PA.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>10+ years of experience, preferably in defense litigation.</li><li>J.D. from an accredited law school.</li><li>PA and NJ active bar licenses, required.</li><li>Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Ability to travel mostly&nbsp;in&nbsp;NJ and PA&nbsp;for court or as necessary.</li><li>Flexibility to work remotely from PA or NJ, with the ability to occasionally travel to&nbsp;our Philadelphia or NJ offices&nbsp;as needed&nbsp;(i.e.&nbsp;trial preparation, deposition, client meeting, etc.).</li><li>Experience drafting pleadings, answering written discovery, taking depositions, and conducting arbitrations/trials.</li><li>Demonstrated interest in liability defense with a strong preference for those with prior experience in liability defense such as motor vehicle and/or premises liability.</li><li>Strong trial experience is preferred. &nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 20px; color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 500; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.95); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;\">Please submit a cover letter, resume and short writing sample for consideration.
