    "description": "<h2>Department Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Breast Imaging Radiologist | 100% Breast | No Call / No Nights or Weekends</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Department of Diagnostic Radiology is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our excellent faculty team. This role combines high-quality patient care, teaching, and opportunities for academic scholarship, in a collaborative and collegial environment backed by the Knight Cancer Institute, Oregon’s only NCI-designated Cancer Center.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Discover your future at OHSU Diagnostic Radiology - click below for a brief overview of the department.https://www.ohsu.edu/sites/default/files/2024-12/OHSU-Radiology-Faculty-Recruitment-December2024_0.pdf </p>\n<h2>Function/Duties of Position</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>100% Breast Imaging</li>\n <li>Perform all aspects of breast imaging and interventions, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, biopsies, aspirations, and pre-surgical localizations</li>\n <li>Teach at all levels: medical students, residents, and breast imaging fellows</li>\n <li>Participate in weekly Multidisciplinary Comprehensive Breast Care Conference</li>\n <li>No call responsibilities, no nights, no weekends</li>\n <li>Guaranteed Academic Day per week on average (1.0 FTE faculty are 4 days clinical and 1 day academic)</li>\n <li>Partial FTE options available</li>\n <li>Shift based compensation model, with transparent and equitable pay that scales with academic rank</li>\n <li>One clinical location, within the Breast Center integrated with Knight Oncology, serving patients from OHSU Hospital, Clinics, and the VA</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible</li>\n <li>Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency</li>\n <li>Eligible to practice in Oregon</li>\n <li>International Medical Graduates encouraged to apply if they also hold: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Valid ECFMG certification + ABR BC or BE through the ABR IMG Alternate Pathway Program</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Academic experience or interest</li>\n <li>Current Fellows, all levels of candidates with fellowship training and/or faculty experience in Breast Imaging are encouraged to apply</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Details</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Generous signing bonus</li>\n <li>Competitive salary with exceptional retirement plan including 403b, governmental 457b, and 401a (with 12% employer contribution)</li>\n <li>Generous PTO plan: 26 days PTO, 11 holidays, and conference time, with flexible scheduling and emphasis on work-life balance</li>\n <li>Comprehensive malpractice protection</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid parental leave, and wellness initiatives</li>\n <li>Highly successful academic promotion track record over the last 10 years</li>\n <li>Research support and collaboration with nationally recognized centers across the institution</li>\n <li>Protected administrative time for nearly 30 disaggregated leadership positions across the department</li>\n <li>$7,000 CME allowance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.</em></p>\n<h2>Why apply to OHSU?</h2>\n<b>We are Oregon's only public academic health center.</b> In addition to caring for patients, we lead groundbreaking research.
