Work schedules vary, depending on business needs. Load assignments are given based on hours of service available. Less experience will be considered on an individual basis and may require an extended training period</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Valid DOT Physical </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">No more than 2 moving violations within the previous 3 years </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">No major violations within the previous 5 years</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">HAZMAT Copper Drivers must wear a half-face respirator for specific tasks, which also requires that you are clean-shaven daily. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Successful respirator physical, and respirator fit test</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ability to pass a satisfactory road test</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ability to pass a controlled substance test for pre-employment purpose</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Authorized access to mine site properties</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 22px; font-weight: bold\"> Knowledge, skills, abilities &amp; physical requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">CDL driver must be qualified to operate a combination vehicle as a driver in compliance with FMCSA</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Must be insurable under the company’s vehicle insurance policy</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Understand and comply with organizational policies and procedures and all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Must be available for work when hours are available, according to FMCSA’s hours of service regulations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ability to work varying hours and schedules; occasionally staying overnight with short notice</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Proficient in performing tasks in rapid succession, handling stressful situations, making quick decisions, and reacting</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ability to crawl on hands and knees to open and close bottom hatches on the underside of the trailer</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Occasionally lift, carry, pull, push and/or move up to 70 pounds</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Requires constant climbing of stairs and/or ladders, working at elevations of 14 feet above the ground</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The ability to sit, drive, shift gears and stay awake for long periods of time</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Conduct tasks while wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Wear a face respirator and additional PPE when required while performing tasks </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Other configurations of PPE are required at all times while on mine and/or customer property</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ability to operate a manual transmission, not required but preferred </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) requirements</span>:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">PPE is required and must be worn in accordance with company policy and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for each work site. PPE is typically issued by our safety department and may include but is not limited to:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">•             Hard hat with face shield</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">•             Goggles/Spoggles</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">•             Gloves</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">•             Long sleeve shirt</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">•             Reflective vest</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">•             Hearing protection</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">•             Respirator Mask (varies according to the work site)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">•             Steel toe boots (not supplied by CTI)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Respirators</span>: CTI employees are required to wear a full and/or half-mask respirator for any job task that requires a respirator. Respirators (PPE) are distributed by CTI and are used to protect employees from those occupational hazards caused by breathing contaminated air (harmful dust, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors).
