T he Renfrew Center of Philadelphia (Roxborough), PA offers an unmatched opportunity for a Revenue Recovery Specialist . For more than 40 years, The Renfrew Center has been a leader in eating disorder treatment and advocacy, serving patients and families with clinical excellence, compassion, and integrity. We are seeking an exceptional insurance recovery and reimbursement professional to help secure timely and appropriate payment from insurance carriers.
This is not a routine collections role.
We are looking for someone who is intelligent, strategic, relentless, persuasive, and deeply accountable — someone who treats every dollar as if it were their own and understands that reimbursement supports life-changing care.
Our ideal candidate is equal parts diplomat, investigator, negotiator, and closer.

Pursue and recover insurance reimbursements for all levels of care as well as patient and family engagement for cost sharing Manage complex accounts receivable and denied claims Conduct aggressive yet professional follow-up with insurance companies Navigate appeals, authorizations, underpayments, and reimbursement disputes Build productive working relationships with payor representatives Escalate claims strategically and effectively when necessary Maintain meticulous documentation and tracking Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support reimbursement efforts Creates billing statements, sends appeals, when necessary, prepares accounts for collections and handles all correspondences both internal and external Reduce aging receivables and accelerate collections
