    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>As the Field Safety Specialist, you will lead Safety training, accountability and compliance.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manages accident reporting and investigation for assigned Regions.</li>\n <li>Travel to visit service centers each week. Most weeks will require 3 nights away from home. Travel some weeks will be up to 4 nights away.</li>\n <li>Be willing to work during the hours that the Service Centers are operating in a wide range of weather conditions.</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in an unstructured environment in order to create a safer work environment.</li>\n <li>Conducts training and education classes for Drivers, Dock Workers and other employees.</li>\n <li>Tracks and analyzes Safety data.</li>\n <li>Coordinates joint safety audits with leaders to ensure compliance with company policies, standards and regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Implements behavioral based safety techniques.</li>\n <li>Assists Operations in implementing and maintaining safety incentive and awareness processes as well as other processes in areas of safety and health.</li>\n <li>Manages and develops Lead Driver Trainers/ Program.</li>\n <li>Be a leader in positive recognition of safe behaviors with Safety's support presence in employee meetings, recognition activities and interaction with employees both formal and informal.</li>\n <li>Continuously identify areas and processes for improvement in the Safety Department and the Company.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience</li>\n <li>5 years experience in environmental health and safety or relate field, and/or experience in the LTL industry</li>\n <li>Experience and understanding of accepted loss prevention and safety practices</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office( Word, Excel) and typing skills</li>\n <li>Great communication skills written and verbal</li>\n <li>Professional certifications (i.e.: CDS, CSS, or other recognized certifications) preferred</li>\n <li>Current CDL is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Stable and growing organization</li>\n <li>Competitive weekly pay</li>\n <li>Quick advancement</li>\n <li>Professional, positive and people-centered work environment</li>\n <li>Modern facilities</li>\n <li>Clean, late model equipment</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, AD&D, 401(k), etc.</li>\n <li>Paid holidays (8); paid vacation and personal days</li>\n</ul>",
