    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>This driver position will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from appointments, activity trips, airport shuttle service and other special events.  The hours of this position will need to be flexible to accommodate transportation needs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pay for this position will start at $15.50/hr.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must pass background screening and have clean driving record.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p>\n<p>· Pick up or transports visitors or staff as needed.</p>\n<p>· Transport patients for admissions and discharges.</p>\n<p>· Assure that all passengers are wearing seatbelts before the vehicle is started.</p>\n<p>· Drive company facility vehicle to pick-up supplies or equipment, as needed.</p>\n<p>· Respond and adhere to “on call” schedule as required.</p>\n<p>· Accurately and appropriately complete all transportation documentation.</p>\n<p>· Maintain vehicle log(s) and report maintenance issues to appropriate facility staff.</p>\n<p>· Ensure all company vehicles are kept clean and functional.</p>\n<p>· Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</p>\n<p>· High school diploma or equivalent required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</p>\n<p>· Valid State Driver’s License required.</p>\n<p>· CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).</p>\n<p>· First aid may be required based on state or facility.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties from particular jobs when circumstances (e.g. emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs or technological developments) dictate.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are committed to providing equal  employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual’s characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position requires a Level 2 Background Screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
