We’re proud to combine the resources of a large company with the values and care of a family-run business.</strong></p>\n<h2>Essential Job Summary:</h2>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Pricing Analyst to lead advanced pricing analytics, segmentation, and scenario modeling across a diverse customer base. This role is responsible for designing and maintaining sophisticated pricing strategies that balance revenue growth, margin expansion, customer retention, and competitive positioning.</p>\n<p>The Senior Pricing Analyst will work with large, complex datasets and partner closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Commercial Leadership to drive disciplined, data-driven pricing decisions. This role requires strong Excel proficiency, deep analytical thinking, and a finance-oriented mindset and will report to Director of Pricing.</p>\n<p>Waste industry experience is optional; experience with complex, contracted, or service based pricing environments is strongly preferred.</p>\n<h2>Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Build and maintain customer- and segment-level profitability and contribution margin models.</li>\n <li>Support long-term pricing decisions focused on maximizing customer lifetime value</li>\n <li>Identify pricing leakage, structurally underpriced customers, and repricing opportunities.</li>\n <li>Analyze competitive positioning by mapping internal prices against known competitor pricing</li>\n <li>Incorporate competitive data, sales feedback, and market intelligence into pricing strategies.</li>\n <li>Support Sales with fact-based pricing guidance and defensible price positioning.</li>\n <li>Analyze historical pricing, customer behavior, and market data to model pricing strategy at a regional level.</li>\n <li>Determine optimal price points by customer segment to maximize revenue and margin.</li>\n <li>Balance price realization with retention risk.</li>\n <li>Lead complex “what-if” modeling to evaluate the impact of pricing actions on revenue, volume, margin and churn</li>\n <li>Develop analytical frameworks to predict customer churn following price changes.</li>\n <li>Identify price thresholds that maximize revenue without triggering unacceptable attrition.</li>\n <li>Support long-term pricing decisions focused on maximizing customer lifetime value.</li>\n <li>Conduct win/loss analysis on commercial opportunities to refine pricing discipline.</li>\n <li>Leverage direct customer feedback and win/loss interviews to improve pricing models.</li>\n <li>Identify systematic pricing gaps or discounting patterns.</li>\n <li>Support pricing governance through structured, clean, and consistent data management. </li>\n <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, IT and Analytics teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements and Qualifications:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, or related discipline.</li>\n <li>5–10+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, financial analysis, or commercial analytics.</li>\n <li>Advanced Excel proficiency (complex formulas, scenario models, large datasets).</li>\n <li>Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable pricing recommendations.</li>\n <li>Experience in service-based, route-based, logistics, utilities, or infrastructure-intensive industries.</li>\n <li>Experience implementing or working with price optimization software</li>\n <li>Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce) and embedding pricing logic into sales workflows.</li>\n <li>Experience working with contracted pricing and index-based adjustments (CPI).</li>\n <li>Exposure to churn modeling, customer lifetime value, or predictive analytics.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills; ability to translate data into business insights</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Power BI or similar visualization tools preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This job description is intended to be an accurate representation of the general functions of the job, rather than exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, or experience.
