Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in supporting clinical operations and ensuring a positive patient experience. This position is responsible for assisting with patient intake, scheduling, and administrative tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Intake & Support
Take and record vital signs accurately.
Check in patients and complete registration processes.
Prep charts for the following day to ensure smooth workflow.
Communication & Coordination
Correspond with patients regarding appointments and inquiries.
Conduct patient outreach to schedule appointments.
Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
Scheduling & Financial Transactions
Schedule patient appointments efficiently.
Collect co-payments and outstanding patient balances.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or related certification preferred.
Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred.
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Ability to work scheduled hours
Salary Range:
$19.29 hourly
