Description
Our Client, operating within the solar energy and renewable solutions industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Officer to manage and oversee warehouse operations supporting project and installation activities. The ideal candidate will be a mid to senior-level professional with proven experience in warehouse management, strong computer skills, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory control while supporting smooth operational and project execution. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch of materials and equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper stock control in line with company procedures. Utilize warehouse and inventory management systems to track stock movements and generate reports. Coordinate with procurement, project, and installation teams to ensure timely availability of materials for solar and renewable energy projects. Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and variance reporting, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved. Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of materials, tools, and equipment to prevent damage and losses. Oversee the issuance and return of tools, equipment, and project materials. Ensure warehouse facilities are secure, clean, well-organized, and accessible only to authorized personnel. Support planning and forecasting of material requirements in coordination with management. Maintain accurate documentation for all warehouse transactions, including goods received, issues, and transfers. Ensure compliance with internal control procedures, safety standards, and company policies. Supervise and guide junior warehouse staff where applicable. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 4–6 years’ proven experience in warehouse operations and warehouse management. Strong computer skills with proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated ability to manage warehouse operations independently with minimal supervision. Experience within the solar energy, renewable energy, construction, or electrical industry is an added advantage. Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
