You will collaborate with members of the Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, or product teams to ensure content is complete, accurate, and timely.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Identifies potential projects for bid and compiles list of material requirements including, supplies, lighting, switchgear, and other distribution apparatuses.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Communicates with suppliers to discuss material specifications, clarifies and confirms bill of materials, negotiates pricing and identifies alternatives for special or custom orders.</li>\n <li>Supervised negotiations with both suppliers and customers.</li>\n <li>Provides material including, data-com, switchgear and apparatus, and lighting, take-offs for preparing customer quotations.</li>\n <li>Coordinates receipt of required information for preparation of final quotation submittal.</li>\n <li>Communicates with customers to resolve problems with projects during bidding process.</li>\n <li>Follows-up on open and outstanding quotations with salespersons and customers to determine status.</li>\n <li>Communicates with account representatives, account executives, and inside sales reps to ensure quotes and resulting orders are complete.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Posts projects being bid by customers.</li>\n <li>Maintains catalogs and price lists.</li>\n <li>May provide general customer service after project awarded.</li>\n <li>May identify sales opportunities within current customer base.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred</li>\n <li>2 to 5 years of related experience is required</li>\n <li>2+ years experience interacting with customers and/or supplier representatives to obtain pricing information and cooperation</li>\n <li>Must be able to read and interpret specifications and blueprints</li>\n <li>Strong math and analytical skills</li>\n <li>Strong communication and organization skills</li>\n <li>Broad knowledge of product lines and pricing strategies is preferred</li>\n <li>Previous experience putting together bid packages preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to travel up to 25%</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-NS1</p>",
