In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Drive high-quality product decisions by synthesizing input from technical managers, project leaders, manufacturing engineers, and supplier partners into clear, actionable recommendations.

Strengthen decision-making rigor through effective application and continuous improvement of ESW, iDFMEA, FIRG, and structured problem‑solving tools such as 7‑step problem solving and design review checklists.
Provide independent technical leadership by owning smaller business-impact projects or complex components/systems with ambiguity and full accountability to the project team.
Execute and mature engineering processes by independently applying established and emerging work systems while building deeper product and technology expertise.
Build team capability and capacity by coordinating technicians and student employees, and transferring knowledge to less‑experienced engineers through direct or indirect leadership.
