    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p>Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Configuration Manager </strong>providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center-Ground Base Air Defense Sensor division (AFLCMC/ESG). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ESG Division manages efforts focused on developing, acquiring, fielding and sustaining programs that support worldwide communications, Battle Management, Command & Control, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C2ISR), Air/Ground Surveillance, Time Critical Targeting, Combat Identification, Radar Imagery, Integrated Air/Missile Defense, and Mobile/Fixed C2ISR Performance, Exploitation & Dissemination Facilities.</p>\n<p> This is a full-time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, Massachusetts.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Duties include, but not limited to: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee Configuration Management (CM) activities for all program artifacts, including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting.</li>\n <li>Implement and manage CM plans to ensure compliance and integrity of design baselines.</li>\n <li>Convene and support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), document approved changes, and track Change Requests.</li>\n <li>Support engineering assessments and maintain documentation required for audits such as Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCA).</li>\n <li>Track and manage data deliverables, discrepancies, and problem reports.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with program management, systems engineers, and quality managers within an integrated product team environment.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance on CM plans for software, hardware, and IT systems.</li>\n <li>Maintain CM libraries and repositories, including software licensing, packaging, and delivery.</li>\n <li>Audit IT system configurations and manage baselines, updates, and releases.</li>\n <li>Prepare for and support major reviews, audits, design reviews, and technical interchange meetings.</li>\n <li>Document findings, action items, and resolutions from assessments and reviews.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Citizenship: Must be a US citizen</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Clearance</strong><strong>: </strong>Must have and be able to maintain an active Secret security clearance</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></em><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong>Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD</p>\n<ul>\n <li>CM experience within the DoD environment</li>\n <li>Experience performing hardware and software configuration audits</li>\n <li>Experience performing the technical administrative activities necessary to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labeling.</li>\n <li>Experience producing release notes and CM reports</li>\n <li>Understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the CCB, and change control documentation</li>\n <li>Experience performing baseline administrative activities for multiple environments</li>\n <li>Experience developing briefings for management</li>\n <li>Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle</li>\n <li>Ability to enter and manipulate data in a database (i.e Lifecycle Management Process, Microsoft Access, Sharepoint)</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Technical Skills</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Configuration identification, change control, and status accounting</li>\n <li>Configuration Control Board (CCB) support and change management</li>\n <li>Physical and Functional Configuration Audit (PCA/FCA) support</li>\n <li>CM repository and baseline management</li>\n <li>Software release management and version control</li>\n <li>IT system configuration auditing</li>\n <li>Documentation and data deliverable management</li>\n <li>Microsoft Access and SharePoint administration/support</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Interpersonal Skills</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively within integrated product teams</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and documentation skills</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>Additional Information</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA</p>\n<p><strong>Onsite </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-KM1</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Odyssey </strong>is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
