    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client.</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>The Work</u></strong></p>\n<p>The Audiovisual Engineer is responsible for the design, engineering, integration, and advanced troubleshooting of audiovisual systems in support of government operations. The AV Engineer provides technical expertise in the planning, implementation, and optimization of AV solutions to ensure reliable, secure, and high-quality communications for agency meetings, conferences, operations centers, and special events.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position aligns with Cayuse’s core values of Innovation, Excellence, Collaboration, Adaptability, and Integrity by fostering technical solutions that meet customer needs, promoting teamwork, and prioritizing quality in deliverables.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide A/V engineering support consistent with the Audio/Visual Engineer labor category and required A/V certification(s). </li>\n <li>Design, install, troubleshoot, maintain, splice, and terminate all copper and fiber cables for all 39 IOS networks. </li>\n <li>Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and AV systems including, but not limited to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Cameras, N-Version Execution (NVX) Encoders.</li>\n   <li>Digital Media NVX (DM-NVX) Encoders.</li>\n   <li>Digital Signal Processors.</li>\n   <li>Microphones, Speakers.</li>\n   <li>Amplifiers, Televisions/Displays.</li>\n   <li>Servers.</li>\n   <li>Switches.</li>\n   <li>Routers. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software including, but not limited to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Crestron, Christie Spyder, Christie Controller, Bosch, Dante, Jabber, WebEx, Codecs and Touch Panels. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Install, troubleshoot, maintain, set up and schedule VTCs along with maintaining the recording system and inventorying the recordings. </li>\n <li>Understand, design, and implement networks in accordance with best practices including, but not limited to 2-Tier Model, 3-Tier Model, and First Hop Redundancy. </li>\n <li>Design, configure, install, troubleshoot, and maintain switches and switching technologies including, but not limited to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Access Ports, Trunk Ports, VLAN, Native VLAN, Private VLAN, Multicast, STP, MAC, CAM, and CEF. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Design, configure, install, troubleshoot, and maintain routers and routing technologies including, but not limited to: Static and Dynamic Routing and Multicast. </li>\n <li>Create and maintain documentation for all installs and changes including, but not limited to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Diagrams (Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3, Boundary, Core, Distribution, Access), Rack elevations and Ports and Protocols lists. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Apply cyber and/or information technology duties and experiences specifically with relation to A/V systems. </li>\n <li>Support A/V system integration with underlying IT/network infrastructure aligned to applicable DCWF work roles (e.g., Network Operations Specialist; Enterprise Architect). </li>\n <li>Provide technical support and systems development support aligned to DCWF work roles (Technical Support Specialist; Systems Developer). </li>\n <li>Document and maintain A/V system configurations and engineering/support actions as applicable. </li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications – Here’s What You Need</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The qualifications and skills listed below are intended to provide a general overview of the requirements for this position. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt to evolving responsibilities as outlined by the client.</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>A</strong><strong>u</strong><strong>d</strong><strong>io</strong><strong>v</strong><strong>i</strong><strong>sual </strong><strong>E</strong><strong>n</strong><strong>gineer</strong><strong> Journeyman:</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Associate’s degree or approved equivalent experience.</li>\n   <li>NV certification (e.g., Certified Technology Specialist, Crestron Technical Institute certifications, e.g., Technician/Field Engineer, Programmer, Core).</li>\n   <li>4 years’ AV experience, specifically with relation to NV systems.</li>\n   <li>Active Secret Security Clearance is required.</li>\n   <li><strong>A</strong><strong>u</strong><strong>d</strong><strong>io</strong><strong>v</strong><strong>i</strong><strong>sual </strong><strong>E</strong><strong>n</strong><strong>gineer</strong><strong> SME:</strong></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Bachelor’s degree or approved equivalent experience.</li>\n   <li>NV certification (e.g., Certified Technology Specialist, Crestron Technical Institute certifications, e.g., Technician/Field Engineer, Programmer, Core).</li>\n   <li>10 years cyber and/or information technology duties and experiences, specifically with relation to NV systems.
