Description Frontier Senior Living is seeking an outstanding Restaurant Manager to join The Preserve at Spring Creek community located in Garland, TX . Demonstrated success as a leader in similar settings is required of the Restaurant Manager. The Restaurant Manager is directly responsible for establishing and maintaining all standards of quality, conduct, customer service, and productivity within the Food Services Department. The Restaurant Manager will lead and develop food service team by promoting proper dining room etiquette, meal handling procedures, and exceptional customer service skills. Promotes a thorough and continuous understanding among all employees of the importance of the Food Services Department to the quality of life for residents and prospective residents. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, organize, schedule and coordinate all activities in the community's dining room. Recruit, hire, train, discipline and supervise a full complement of staff. Manage the daily operations of the dining room to exceed hospitality and service standards; Meet and greet all residents and guests and assist them with any requests and suggestions. Establish, document, direct and assist in general kitchen and dining room sanitation procedures, preparing schedules for all shifts for all kitchen and dining room staff and post in their work areas Monitor setup, maintenance, cleanliness and safety of dining areas. Comply with any and all state, local or federal rules, regulations and licensing requirements related to health, safety (OSHA), and general operation of the Food Services Department.
