Gain experience and learn about the Electric and Communications Utility Industries while conducting utility pole inspections, in-field data collection, and NESC violation audits. Full training on industry-leading technologies and testing is provided. Many field technicians who work with us go on to other professional careers in the utility industry. Job Summary The Field Inspector is responsible for performing utility pole inspections, in-field data collection, and identifying National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) violations. This role involves using advanced Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) technology, including laser and ultrasonic measurement devices, to collect and analyze engineering data. Responsibilities Perform inspections and assessments of utility poles to evaluate their condition. Conduct in-field data collection using advanced Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) technology and instruments. Utilize laser measurement devices, ultrasonic measurement tools, and cloud-based data collection and analysis platforms. Identify and document NESC violations and other utility-related issues. Ensure accurate and detailed reporting of inspection results. Follow safety protocols and maintain high standards of work quality. What to know about this role: Paid training, paid travel time, per diem for food for out-of-state work. Paid accommodation while traveling. Job Type: Full-time 5-6 days a week / 8-hour days Salary: Training Rate of $22.00. $40 - $50 per production unit after certification. Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: 8-hour shift Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay.
