    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>CWI/NACE Level 3 Inspector - Houston, TX</strong></p><p>Intertek, a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL) and leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the world’s leading brands and companies, is actively seeking a <strong>CWI/NACE Level 3 Inspector </strong>to join our Technical Inspection Services team in <strong>Houston, TX.</strong> This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Industry Services.</p><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p>The <strong>CWI/NACE Level 3 Inspector</strong>&nbsp;is responsible for ensuring that the Project Quality Plan in conjunction with Project Execution Plan is developed and implemented. This role will&nbsp;promote&nbsp;quality awareness throughout the organization, emphasizing excellence, continuous improvement, and corrective action to influence the overall success of company business.&nbsp;By joining&nbsp;Intertek, your contributions will be valued as we continue to help&nbsp;the world&nbsp;<i>Build&nbsp;Back&nbsp;Ever&nbsp;Better.</i>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Title: CWI/NACE Level 3 Inspector</strong></p><p><strong>Shift/Schedule: This is a two month project requiring inspections 1-2 times per week.</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Houston, TX</strong></p><p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li><strong>Hot Tap and Line Stop experience</strong></li><li>Hydrostatic pressure testing</li><li>Seat pressure testing</li><li>Any other testing activities specified in the approved ITP</li><li>Verify test charts, records, and acceptance criteria.</li><li>Sign witness and hold points on behalf of the client, in accordance with the ITP.</li><li>Complete final inspection and release activities in accordance with the approved ITP.</li><li>Ensure all ITP steps are:&nbsp;<ul style=\"list-style-type:circle;\"><li>Signed by the supplier first, then</li><li>Signed off by the inspector as completed.</li><li>Issue the inspection release note upon satisfactory completion.</li></ul></li></ul><p>This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements for this role:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to walk long distances</li><li>Must be able to climb, stoop,&nbsp; kneel, crouch and crawl</li><li>Must be able to stand for extended durations</li><li>Must be able to reach in all directions</li><li>Must have good visual acuity with regards to color, depth perception and field vision</li><li>Must be able to work in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold temperatures</li><li>Must be alert and able to determine job related hazards and recognize when hazards change</li><li>Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
