Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Mocksville, North Carolina, the Company is redefining the combustible cigarette through proprietary low-nicotine technology.</em></strong></p><p><u>Position Summary:</u></p><p>The Electronics Technician maintains and repairs the electrical functions and components of high-speed cigar and cigarette manufacturing and packing equipment in a safe and efficient manner and is responsible for machine condition and preventative maintenance.</p><p>**The hours for this role currently are M-Th 5:30am-4:00pm with preventative maintenance as needed on Fridays.</p><p><u>Essential Function:</u></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Diagnose machine problems, respond to operator diagnosis and adjust/repair machine accordingly.&nbsp;</li><li>Use tools such as wrenches, gauges, meters, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance.</li><li>Perform visual quality checks on machine.</li><li>Perform parts repair/replacement of various electrical components.</li><li>Occasionally lift/position materials up to 64 lbs.</li><li>Use ladder.</li><li>Perform procedures and work assignments in keeping with company policy, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice standards.</li><li>Communicate effectively with peers and management.</li><li>Communicate effectively with mechanics when performing work on production machinery.</li><li>Use testing equipment provided by NASCO Products LLC in event of product defect.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor, Plant Engineer, and General Manager.</li></ul><p>These functions outlined are not intended to be a comprehensive list. Additional duties may be assigned at the accordance of the Supervisor, and other Company leadership members.&nbsp;</p><p><u>Qualifications:</u></p><ul type=\"disc\" id=\"isPasted\"><li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li><li>Associate degree <u><strong>required.</strong></u></li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree, or Certificate in related field preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>3 years&rsquo; experience working&nbsp;with high-speed manufacturing equipment required.</li><li>Preferred tobacco manufacturing experience preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Basic knowledge of tools such as wrenches, gauges, meters, etc.</li><li>Knowledge of various electrical components such as AC Drives, Electric Motors, PLCs, Photo-optic Sensors, etc.</li><li>Basic mathematical skills</li><li>Must be able to stand for 8-hour shift.</li><li>Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics preferred.</li><li>Good understanding of electrical diagrams and blueprints</li><li>Experience with various machining tools such as presses, saws, etc.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
