Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>Responsible for preparing and/or coordinating the preparation of full cost estimates on large and complex projects as required by the client’s documents.  </p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Actively gather and disseminate market intelligence for each estimating job by talking directly with the buyer, the end user, vendors, and/or other sources of information.</li>\n <li>Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and requirements as the basis for formulating quotation strategies.</li>\n <li>Work with Estimating, Engineering, and Sales Departments to analyze customer requirements and develop a winning strategy for every quotation.</li>\n <li>Identify the optimum cost/availability of materials within the customer’s approved material supplier or country of origin list and prepare material and labor estimates used in the quotation process.</li>\n <li>Learn to effectively utilize all estimating documentation and electronic programs to prepare the bill of material and labor estimate for all quotations.</li>\n <li>Complete all documentation on time and in an organized manner consistent with company policies and management directives.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Electrical Engineering degree or electrical experience.</li>\n <li>4+ years experience as an electrical estimator or in a similar role preferred.</li>\n <li>An overall broad understanding of all types of electrical systems.
