For more than 60 years, Hamilton has been satisfying customer needs by combining quality materials with skilled workmanship, ensuring the highest level of performance of every precision fluid measuring device we manufacture.\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing the department with technical expertise to design, develop, test, and implement product components.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Planning and performing design development tasks from concept to implementation.</li>\n <li>Studying and evaluating disciplinary or interdisciplinary aspects of new product or design concepts, including all necessary functions leading to presentation and recommendation of possible solutions.</li>\n <li>Ensuring adequate performance of designs for all stages of design and development, or complexity.</li>\n <li>Providing technical advice and particular expertise to department personnel.</li>\n <li>Timely completion and adequacy of the assigned development task for performance and compliance with standards.</li>\n <li>Adequate documentation of the performed task including description, specification, testing and implementation.</li>\n <li>Clear presentation of developments or designs at design reviews.</li>\n <li>Providing technical leadership and assistance to lower-level department personnel.</li>\n <li>Independently taking control and completing assigned major sections of a new product development effort.</li>\n <li>Troubleshooting production floor problems and completing design changes, as a result of investigation.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Working knowledge of LTSpice, OrCAD, Verilog/VHDL. Experience designing to FCC Class B EMC standards is preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to direct board layout designers to produce FCC EMC-compliant designs.</li>\n <li>Ability to support other departments, including troubleshooting circuit boards as needed</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, including documentation, reports, and interaction with manufacturing and engineering teams.</li>\n <li>Nice to have: Experience with scripting and Python for automation, testing, or data analysis.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education/Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of control systems and their practical implementations.</li>\n <li>Design experience with CPLDs, FPGAs, ARM microcontrollers, optical encoders, Hall-effect sensors, MOSFETs, Op Amps, ESD and overcurrent protection, and DC-DC switching power supplies.</li>\n <li>Extensive motor control design experience is desirable.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in the design and development of electrical or electromechanical systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Hamilton</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Diverse portfolio of exciting and innovative design projects    </li>\n <li>Tremendous opportunities for professional growth and advancement    </li>\n <li>Commitment to sustainable design    </li>\n <li>Competitive Compensation    </li>\n <li>Excellent Benefit Package (medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, disability insurance, 401k, tuition reimbursement and much more)</li>\n <li>Solid Stable Company</li>\n <li>Drug free workplace.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Mid Salary</h2>",
