This is a remote role based in the Denver metro area, with on-site customer support as needed. The Network Engineer I applies networking expertise to diagnose and resolve issues, deliver reliable network operations, and collaborate with senior engineers on complex initiatives in a fast-paced MSP environment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 13px; text-decoration: underline\">What you’ll be doing:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking equipment including Cisco switches and access points, and Fortinet firewalls, applying technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues.</span><span> </span></span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Provide on-site hands-on support at customer locations in the Denver metro area, including rack and stack, hardware replacement, cable management, and in-person incident response.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span><span>Perform network monitoring, alerting, and incident response across multiple customer environments, applying independent judgment to triage and resolve issues.</span> </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span><span>Execute AWS networking tasks including VPC configuration, security groups, and VPN connectivity.</span> </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span><span>Analyze network configurations and recommend improvements based on observed performance, customer requirements, and best practices.</span> </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span><span>Document network configurations, changes, and standard procedures.</span> </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents, applying troubleshooting methodology to restore service.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span><span>Collaborate with senior engineers on complex technical matters and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the team.</span> </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span><span><span>Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence.</span> </span></span><span><br></span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 13px\">Is this role for you?</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 13px; text-decoration: underline\">Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience: 1–3 years in networking or IT support roles.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Core Networking: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewalls.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Hardware: Hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Fortinet equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Systems &amp; Cloud: Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and AWS (or other cloud platforms).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Skills: Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer service communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Location: Remote, but must be based in the Denver metro area for occasional on-site customer visits.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 13px\">In addition to the perks of working with an awesome team, CloudHesive offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, training on cutting-edge technologies and partners (AWS), a flexible work schedule, responsible time off, standing desks, a kitchen filled with employee-selected snacks, and much more!
